Welcome back to Tap, Nap & Snap - the newsletter that’s a little sad to be saying that for the last time, but even more excited to be telling you what’s next.

In the last email, I mentioned that after two years here, dishing out the BJJ drama and dealing in dank memes, I am shutting it down. #thebluefluisreal

I also mentioned that ‘shutting down’ wasn’t actually the right way to put it.

It’s more of an evolution. Heck, a promotion, if you will. 😎

Initially, I started this newsletter as a bit of fun. It felt like a cool way to tap into the BJJ world and create something that jiu-jitsu people could have a laugh at.

I was never quite sure where it would go, if anywhere, but as time ticked on, I knew I wanted to do something a bit bigger.

Something that could reach more jits crew, become a bigger part of the community and possibly even help people with their training and lifetyle.

So, with that as the north star - the last few months have been busier than ever with researching, testing, networking and building the next chapter of what we (my wife & I) aim to make a staple brand in the BJJ world.

And we’ve called it:

Raised combines our years of experience in the health food industry and the jiu-jitsu world.

The goal is to create a range of epic foods and products that help mat savages like yourselves snack better, train better and recover better so you can stay in the game you love stronger and healthier, for longer.

While the products are serious stuff and aim to be better than anything you’ll currently find, the brand is still us to the core. Much like Tap Nap & Snap, Raised is here to have a bit of fun and lean into the lighter side of the sport.

So, what happens from here?

Well, the essence of Tap Nap & Snap will remain as ‘The Raised Weekly’, rounding up all of the jiu-jitsu news highlights with a spicy sprinkling of memes and cool techniques as it’s always done.

Basically, the same ol’ newsletter you know and love, just in a different shape.

Will it include some blatant links to the products we are creating? You’re damn right. We are proud of what we are making here, and hope a lot of you guys will be too.

Now, I know this isn’t quite what you signed up for, so here’s your Matrix-flavoured Red Pill vs. Blue Pill moment …

Option 1: Do nothing. The next email you receive will be from us, but it will be coming from Raised. You’ll get first access to see exactly what we are up to and be looped in as one of our early supporters - giving you the chance at a Foundation Membership if you’re so inclined.

Option 2: Pull the ripcord and hit ‘unsubscribe’ at the bottom of this email. No hard feelings from us at all, I know this is a strong pivot and a different direction from what you originally came here for.

Shipping is limited to Australia & NZ to start with, but we are quickly exploring options to get overseas as soon as we are up and running smoothly.

We’d obviously love for you all to stick around and join us for the next chapter, but if it’s Option 2 for you, thanks a million for being a part of it to this point! 🙏
